Nastalgic, no bugs

I used to play this when i was little and i still love it more curse words than i remember though which is even better I havent noticed any bugs and im well into the game. I would mess with the camera angles they bothered me at first.

Like the game hate the controls!

While the same can be fun, I find it very frustrating because the “camera” (mouse) controls are not smooth or refined. While is battle it can get very confusing when you are trying to find your traget and the x/y axes movements go in the wrong direction. SO the quesation is would I reccomend the game? Maybe but I would say use a game controler if you can.

Very good so far

I am enjoying this game , and for the price you can’t beat it !!!!!! I recommend I have a 2014 mbp retina with 10.10.3 yosemite , no issues whatsoever . This game does not run hot at all and I have temp gauge pro for monitoring and control of fans , but alas this game runs very cool . Keyboard controls have no issues and all work just as they say. Update : when you get 3/4 of the way through the game ( “ Shadow of the steef “ and " jumping the steam vents" there needs to be a little more lag time for you to work the keyboard controls ) the keyboard and mouse controls are very hard .

Lots of bang for the buck

Unique in its creative approach to characters assigned to an old west plot. Twist in the middle that I didn’t expect. Joystick control difficult for the camera/reticle especially on harder levels. The reticle is too slow to aim for really good play, but with a change in strategy you can maximize the use fo the various critter ammo. In a way, the poor camera control forces you to use the various ammo types to their full. My only other complaint is the use of curse words. Otherwise, many hours of play for a low price. The main character, Stranger, reveals a secret half-way through that changes the game. Just when you are getting weary of trying to collect bounties, the plot shifts and brings in a whole new aspect. The combination of the old west with modern, sometimes steampunk appearing technology, really makes this a rich experience.

Oddworld Games Rock

After playing Oddworld: New n Tasty plus the second game Munch’s Oddysee, I looked at the third Oddworld game Stranger’s Wrath from 2005. I hooked my original (2002) Xbox up and the video quality was poor even with component cables compared to the porting of the game to Mac OS X. I use a Xbox 360 USB controller and play it on a 40" LED from my MB Air and it looks and works great! Many thanks to the company that ported all the Oddworld games to PS/4, Mac and Windows!! I hope a new Oddworld game will arrive someday in the future. $6 is all it cost on iTunes for Stranger’s Wrath and $8 for Munch’s Oddysee. I paid $19.99 for Oddworld: New n Tasy for my PS4 and it looks great compared to the original game. If you are a fan of the first game, try New n Tasty and you’ll be pleased as I was.

Love this Game and PS4 Controller on my MacBook

The price was unbeatable and after waiting for YEARS I bought this and played it on my MacBook Pro. The UI on a laptop was pretty frustrating and then a friend asked why I wasn’t using one of my PS4 controllers (USB cable to MacBook). The controller works great (except for the Mouse actions, mostly in game management) and the game is now more fun than ever
